The Patton Veterans Project will host a community screening of short films created by local veterans next month at Aims Community College in Greeley.
The screening starts at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19 at the Aims Welcome Center, 4901 W. 20th St. The free event is open to the public. A meet-and-greet with the veterans will follow the screening.
The veterans have been working on their films depicting their service in a free Aims film workshop this month.
The Patton Veterans Project was founded in 2012 and has helped nearly 1,400 veterans create more than 300 films at major military bases and colleges across the country and abroad.
The Patton Veterans Project has plans for more film workshops this year at colleges in Wyoming and Colorado. Veterans can go to pattonveteransproject.org or call 970-657-5500 to register or to learn more.
