Former Clemson wide receiver Jackson Crosby has committed to East Tennessee State for the final year of his college football career.
Crosby walked on at Clemson in 2021 and spent four seasons with the program, appearing in nine games and recording two catches for 25 yards across 31 offensive snaps. The Six Mile, S.C., native entered the transfer portal in late December before deciding on ETSU.
A standout at Daniel High School, Crosby was a key leader of the Lions’ 2020 3A state championship team. Playing both quarterback and wide receiver, he totaled over 1,600 all-purpose yards and scored 26 touchdowns during his high school career. He earned South Carolina 3A Offensive Back of the Year honors and multiple All-State and All-Region selections.
Crosby earned his management degree from Clemson in August 2024. He initially committed to The Citadel for football and baseball but chose to join the Tigers as a walk-on. His father, Dan, also has a sports legacy, having played baseball at The Citadel.
Crosby looks to make an impact at ETSU with one year remaining of eligibility.
