Gabriel Jesus was left with his head in his hands after being stretchered off the pitch of Arsenal’s FA Cup clash on Sunday.
The Arsenal star had started the third round clash against Manchester United and was enjoying a fierce battle with Lisandro Martinez in the early exchanges.
But Jesus’s game came to a premature end after tracking back to tackle Bruno Fernandes on the edge of his own box.
An awkward challenge saw the Man United star brought down, however, referee Andy Madley didn’t award the foul.
In a clear show of frustration, Fernandes then threw his boot to the ground in disgust and was subsequently yellow carded for dissent.
But despite it not being deemed a foul, it wasn’t good news for Jesus, who required treatment on the pitch.
Clearly in some distress, Arsenal’s medical team entered the field of play and brought a stretcher with them.
With his head in his hands, the Brazilian was stretchered off the pitch in worrying scenes as he was replaced by Raheem Sterling.
Jesus was also seen clutching his knee after an aerial duel with Martinez minutes earlier.
