WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) -- The Williamson County Sheriff's Office said on Saturday that fire crews are actively working to extinguish a large fire off State Highway 138 in Williamson County near US 183.
WCSO said the fire has spread across a significant area.
Authorities said to avoid the area to allow emergency responders to work safely and efficiently.
According to a spokesperson with Williamson County there are no injuries, but some structures have been impacted.
The fire is contained, but firefighters are still monitoring hot spots according to the spokesperson.
About 30 acres burned in the fire according to the spokesperson.
The Florence Fire Department is the lead agency.
Overall 9 agencies responded to the fire according to a Williamson County Spokesperson.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
