Jose Mourinho has hit out at Fenerbahce’s title rivals and the referees in Turkey in his latest sensational rant.
The legendary manager’s complaints came after his side’s latest Turkish Super Lig victory.
Fenerbahce beat Hatayspor 2-1 at home on Sunday as they made their return from the winter break.
A brace from Youssef En-Nesyri was enough to secure all three points for Mourinho’s side.
However, he took aim at league leaders Galatasaray in his post-match press conference.
Mourinho also called out a ‘scandal’ as he refused to hold back with his comments.
The Portuguese told reporters: “To close the gap, we need to win matches and we need the leader to lose points.
“I think we are going to win matches, I think we are going to be better than we have been until now. But how are they going to lose points? That’s the question.
“How? I don’t speak English, I’m sorry, I don’t speak Turkish, but sometimes I learn words by repetition.
“I listen so many times to certain words that then I learn them by repetition. It’s the ‘gunaydin’ (good morning), it’s the ‘toplanti’ (meeting), there are a few words that I learn by repetition.
“Yesterday, everybody was saying the same thing. Scandal, scandal, scandal. I learn new words. Scandal, scandal, scandal.
“But I think some of you like it. In this country, many people like it. Even the winners like it, which is the worst thing of all. Which is the worst thing of all.
Mourinho pointed out calls of a ‘scandal’ in Turkish football“Because to win at any cost and to win in this way is the worst thing. Is the worst thing.”
It is not the first time Mourinho has flown off the handle in Turkey after saying the league ‘smells bad’ during an eight-minute tirade in November.
Sunday’s win leaves Fenerbahce second in the Turkish Super Lig after 17 matches this season.
However, they remain eight points behind city rivals and unbeaten leaders Galatasaray.
Mourinho is hoping to end an 11-year wait for a league title for the club by delivering Fenerbahce’s 20th top flight triumph.
The 61-year-old was appointed in the summer on a two-year deal through to 2026.
He has since won 16 of his 27 matches across all competitions, losing just five times.
