RuPaul, known for creating the hit TV franchise RuPaul's Drag Race, shared his reaction to the death of British drag queen The Vivienne after they passed away over the weekend.
The 64-year-old took to Instagram to share a photo posing with The Vivienne, also known as James Lee Williams, on the set of the reality TV show, along with a sweet message about them.

RuPaul wrote in the caption, "With a broken heart, I join the entire Drag Race universe in mourning the loss of The Vivienne—an incredibly talented queen and a lovely human being."

Many fellow drag queens commented red hearts on the post, while Danny Beard, who won the fourth season of RuPaul's Drag Race UK, said, "You meant the world to her! Sending love ?."

The Vivienne passed away over the weekend in Chester, England, at the age of 32. No cause of death has been shared, but police reported that there were "no suspicious circumstances."
The late drag queen was a big part of the RuPaul's Drag Race community, first appearing in the franchise as the UK drag ambassador in Season 7 of the original series. The Vivienne went on to win the first season of RuPaul's Drag Race UK, while also competing in Season 7 of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars.
