A 19-year-old man was shot and killed Sunday morning in the Lincoln Park neighborhood.
Officers from the San Diego Police Department responded to the shooting on the 300 block of Willie James Jones Avenue, east of the Jacob Dekema Freeway, just after 9:30 a.m.
A 19-year-old Hispanic man was located in the street, suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
Detectives are in the process of gathering evidence and searching the neighborhood for security video.
Two preliminary suspects have been described as two Hispanic male juveniles, both about 5’7” tall. Detectives are also investigating whether the shooting was gang motivated.
