Crystal Palace have had a £15million offer for Liverpool’s Ben Doak rejected, talkSPORT understands.
The six-cap Scotland international Doak is currently on loan at Middlesbrough.
Doak has featured in 20 Championship matches for Boro – chipping in with seven goal contributions.
The 19-year-old has scored on two occasions, while he has racked up five assists to help the Yorkshire outfit sit fifth in the table.
His impressive form has caught the eye of Palace, who are in the market for a new right winger following the sale of Michael Olise to Bayern Munich last summer.
But the Reds have instantly rebuffed their £15m offer for the teenager.
It remains to be seen whether the Eagles will return with an improved offer for the youngster.
Doak is highly-rated at Anfield, and his stock has risen this season, where he was named as November’s Championship Player of the Month.
