Baby girls are Greeley area’s first born of 2025 ...Saudi Arabia

Three local newborn girls were the first babies of 2025 born at Banner North Colorado Medical Center, UCHealth Greeley and the Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland.

At 3:38 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 1, Bernadette Threvenin gave birth to a healthy baby girl named Sthassa at Banner North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley. Sthassa weighed 6 pounds, 1 ounce and measured 19.5 inches.  According to a news release, both mother and daughter were doing well.

At 9:17 a.m. Wednesday at the UCHealth Greeley Hospital, Rosemary Grace Wright was born to Molly and Mathew Wright of Eaton. Rosemary weighed 7 pounds, 1 ounce and measured 19.75 inches.

The Wright family is set to leave the hospital with a basket filled with baby supplies from the hospital’s volunteers and gift shop.

Britni and Garett Kiley, a Windsor couple, welcomed their daughter Teigen at 2:42 a.m. Wednesday at UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland. She weighed 7 pounds, 11 ounces and measured 19.5 inches.

According to the UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies news release, Britni thought she was going to give birth at midnight, not a few hours into the new year — let alone have the first baby of 2025 at the hospital.

The release stated that babies born between 2025 to 2039 are a part of the Beta Generation.
