The two leaders stressed the importance of expanding economic and investment cooperation, encouraging more French companies to participate in Egypt’s development projects.
The talks also focused on the Gaza crisis, with the duo emphasizing the need for an immediate ceasefire, the exchange of hostages and detainees, and ensuring the flow of humanitarian aid.
They warned against the risks of escalation and a broader conflict, with Macron praising Egypt’s diplomatic efforts to stabilize the region.
Regarding Syria, they reaffirmed support for preserving the country’s sovereignty and unity while advocating for an inclusive political process.
