Watch: Bas yaar - Exhausted Jasprit Bumrah begs Rohit Sharma to stop making him bowl at MCG

India National Cricket Team pacer Jasprit Bumrah has been working as a machine in the ongoing fourth Test against the Australia National Cricket Team. The Boxing-day Test between the teams is taking place at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne.

Jasprit Bumrah has been Rohit Sharma's go-to man in the ongoing Test match at Melbourne yet again. The fast bowler was at his best with the ball in the ongoing second innings of the Australia National Cricket Team with the bat as he put his team in the winning position at one stage.

Bumrah took the India National Cricket Team off to a flying start with the ball in the second innings. The premier fast bowler was all over the Australia National Cricket batters as his sensational bowling saw the hosts left tottering at 91/6 and coming under massive pressure.

Rohit Sharma no doubt used Bumrah brilliantly as he gave him short spells, but with Australia's tailenders firing, the India captain had no other choice but to bring his main man back. The fast bowler bowled around 9 spells in the second innings and it took a lot of out of him.

What caught the attention of many was when Rohit Sharma asked Jasprit Bumrah to bowl one more over in his 8th spell. However, this arguably was the first time when the fast bowler had said no to this, as it was quite visible that the vice-captain of the team was drained out.

Bumrah was heard telling Rohit Sharma, "Bas ab", which reveals how the India National Cricket Team have been dependent on the fast bowler, who has bowled his heart out in the four games that have been played so far in the series.

Jasprit Bumrah's comments were even mentioned by commentators Sanjay Manjrekar and Deep Dasgupta.

'Bas ab, ab bilkul dum nahi lag raha hai," Bumrah told Rohit after India skipper him to ball an over.

Rohit literally said - Ek aur aur daal le bumrah last wicket leleAnd bumrah said - "Aur zor nahi lag pa rha"?

Bumrah saying "Bas ab" to Rohit. Ffs they have squeezed everything out of him. That milking the cow meme template is coming true. Somebody else step up.

Jasprit Bumrah has bowled close to around 50 overs in the ongoing Test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground

In the ongoing second innings, Bumrah has bowled 24 overs and has taken 4 wickets. In the first innings, the vice-captain of the India National Cricket Team bowled 28.4 overs, which makes around 50 overs in the game, and it is expected that the pacer might bowl a few more overs on day 5.

The stage is all set for an enthralling fifth day of the fourth Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25. All four results are possible as Australia has 333 runs lead and still has one wicket in hand. The India National Cricket Team would want to take an early wicket and then chase the total in what will be a 98-over day.
