A little boy is in stable condition after being hit by a truck while riding a bike in Vista, according to reports.
The Sheriff’s Communications Center received calls just after 2:30 p.m. Friday about a collision in the 800 block of Via Felicidad, the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.
First responders found a 4-year-old child who had been struck by a truck, OnScene.TV reported. The boy was airlifted to a hospital due to multiple traumatic injuries.
The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with traffic investigators, sheriff’s officials said. Neither alcohol nor drugs appear to be a factor in the accident.
