CBS sports broadcaster Greg Gumbel has passed away.
Through the network, his family released a statement, saying, “It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our beloved husband and father, Greg Gumbel. He passed away peacefully, surrounded by much love after a courageous battle with cancer.”
Gumbel, 78, worked for CBS for over thirty years, covering many events, including NFL and college basketball.
