TRIPLE cop killer Harry Roberts pushes a mobility scooter ten years after his controversial release.
Roberts, 88, ignored offers of help as he stopped for breath.
He was jailed for life for murdering Sgt Christopher Head, Det Con David Wombwell and PC Geoffrey Fox in 1966 in West London.
Roberts lives in a town in central England, where locals do not know his true identity.
Hugh Parker, a friend and colleague of Sgt Head, said: “He shouldn’t be out.
“Life should have meant life.”
Matt Cane, General Secretary of the Met’s rank and file Police Federation branch, said: “Police officers volunteer to serve the public.

“The three officers from Foxtrot One One never got the chance to grow old and the life sentence for their loved ones still continues.”
Former Flying Squad commander John O’ Connor said: “Nobody in the Met Police at the time will ever forget what happened.”
