Auburn has downed Houston, Iowa State, North Carolina and now Purdue heading into SEC play, with its only loss coming at Cameron Indoor Stadium against Duke.

The big man finished with 23 points, 11 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 block with just 1 turnover. Tahaad Pettiford also had a great game offensively, dropping 18 points with 5 assists and 3 rebounds.
Auburn had an excellent game plan for Purdue star point guard Braden Smith, who was largely a non-factor. Well, if you’d call 8 points and 6 assists a ‘non-factor.’ With a talent like Smith’s, that’s about as good as Auburn could possibly do.
The Tigers are now 11-1 on the season heading into their final non-conference matchup against Monmouth on December 30.
