DENVER (KDVR) -- The Jefferson County Chief of Schools was terminated Thursday and an investigation is underway.
A spokesperson for Jeffco Public Schools told FOX31 in an email Saturday that Chief of Schools Davis Weiss was terminated, effective Dec. 19.
"At the direction of Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department, we cannot share any further details at this time due to their open investigation," the Jeffco Public Schools spokesperson wrote.
