Bhubaneswar: BJD President and Leader of Opposition (LoP) Naveen Patnaik on Saturday graced the 6th DAV United Festival here at the temple city of Bhubaneswar.
Addressing the gathering, Naveen said that education has always been the cynosure of developing nations.
With its glorious tradition DAV is marching ahead towards a promising future with the noble mission to add high moral, societal and family values through a holistic approach, he said.
In its journey of 138 years, DAV group of institutions have carved a niche for itself in the realm of quality and value-based education. Many of its alumni have made their mark in various fields and earned name and fame at the international level, Naveen said.
The DAV United Festival provides a great platform to rejoice and celebrate the talents and skills of the children. It will certainly encourage them to scale new heights of success and bring laurels for mother India, he added.
Naveen also appreciated the Regional Director of DAV institutions and his team for their commendable efforts in organising the mega event.
Naveen also paid his humble tributes to Swami Dayananda Saraswati, Lala Lajpat Rai and Mahatma Hansaraj, the founders of the DAV movement.
