Notre Dame went on a 9-play, 78-yard scoring drive. The Irish put the game out of reach by extending its lead to 27-3 while taking 5:44. The Hoosiers had just 4:50 of game time to try to score 24 points. They did their best, scoring their only 2 touchdowns of the contest to make it a 27-17 game.
