Sandro Eric Sosing was forced to withdraw from his PDC World Darts Championship match after suffering chest pains while practising.
Sosing was due to play against Ian White in the first round on Friday.
After the Filipino star complained of chest pains, he was attended to by medical staff and has now left Alexandra Palace for further treatment.
White has subsequently received a bye to play Ritchie Edhouse in the second round on Sunday.
