Anthony Colandrea is reportedly taking a visit to Oxford as Ole Miss continues its search for a quarterback for the 2025 season.
The former UVA quarterback has drawn some intrigue and could help the Rebs keep things rolling on offense with Jaxson Dart set to turn pro after this season. Considering Dart was a product of the transfer portal and was such a big hit, Lane Kiffin and company could capitalize in a big way here yet again.
Per 247Sports’ Matt Zenitz, Colandrea is taking his Ole Miss visit on Wednesday:

— Matt Zenitz (@mzenitz) December 18, 2024Colandrea has shown promise over his past 2 seasons despite the fact that he was ultimately benched at Virginia in 2024, totaling 4,083 yards, 26 touchdowns and 20 interceptions. He has also shown potential dual-threat capabilities, rushing for 502 yards and scoring 2 touchdowns on the ground.
Other programs that have been noted as potential landing spots for the former Cavaliers quarterback. Colandrea previously visited Syracuse during this process. Regardless of how things pan out where Ole Miss is specifically concerned, there is no question the Rebels have a large void to fill at the quarterback position with the type of legacy that Dart leaves behind there.
