A collision involving a Metro bus and a semi truck injured 11 people in South El Monte Wednesday morning, Dec. 18, authorities said.
The bus hit a parked truck carrying lumber around 6 a.m. at North Rosemead Boulevard and Klingerman Street, south of the 10 Freeway, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The Metro bus was heading northbound on Line 266, operated by a contractor on behalf of the department, a Metro spokesperson said.
At least one person was taken to the hospital by paramedics.
