“Despite the pouring rain, National Wreaths Across America Day was a success! We moved our ceremony inside the chapel at the Russian River Cemetery. It was dry and cozy. It looked a bit different than all the other years but we were still able to Remember, Honor and Teach. We ended the morning laying over 1,100 wreaths in the rain.”
The organization thanked all those who “showed up and helped out, including Jake Bernie “for continuing to provide sound for us year after year, the Ukiah High School Band …for the beautiful rendition of the National Anthem, and Maryann Gonzales from the VFW Post 1900 for being our MC again this year.”
