Arkansas is bringing in a wide receiver who is familiar with Bobby Petrino’s offense.
Raylen Sharpe took to social media on Sunday to announce his commitment to Arkansas for his final season of college eligibility. The Razorbacks have confirmed he’ll be joining the program, announcing him as a signee.

— Arkansas Razorback Football (@RazorbackFB) December 15, 2024Sharpe heads to Arkansas from Fresno State. This season, Sharpe logged 51 catches for 523 yards and 3 touchdowns. Most intriguing for the Hogs, though, is one of Sharpe’s other previous stops.
Before Fresno State, Sharpe played for Missouri State. In 2022, Arkansas offensive coordinator Bobby Petrino was Missouri State’s offensive coordinator. Razorback receivers coach Ronnie Fouch coached Sharpe at Missouri State in 2022 and ’23. Sharpe had a standout 2023 season, posting 73 catches for 991 yards and 7 touchdowns.
There’s so many different positives to it,” Sharpe told Richard Davenport of Whole Hog Sports. “Coach Fouch, I know him personally, not just as a coach but a father figure as well. Bobby P, just to be able to know the offense and being able to transition very well.
