The 57th annual Pacoima Christmas Parade, presented by the Pacoima Chamber of Commerce on Saturday, Dec. 14 thrilled the crowd, especially the children, as it traveled from Pacoima City Hall down Van Nuys Boulevard to Herrick Avenue.
The beloved tradition in Pacoima included marching bands, car and motorcycle clubs, dance groups, equestrians and drill teams. Los Angeles County Supervisor Lindsey Horvath was grand marshall, Los Angeles City Councilmember Monica Rodriguez waved to the crowd from a vintage fire truck, and L.A. City Attorney Hydee Soto traveled in a blue Dodgers hotrod.
Children cheered to see Oogie Boogie and The Grinch, and the San Fernando High School band wowed everyone along the route.
