December 7, 2024 (OMDURMAN) – A child was killed, and 14 people were wounded when Rapid Support Forces (RSF) fighters shelled a medical centre and residential areas in Sudan’s Omdurman on Saturday, the Khartoum state health ministry said. The attack comes as authorities try to restore health services in areas under army control despite frequent shelling by the RSF, which has been battling the army since April. “The rebel militia continued to bomb hospitals and health centres,” the ministry said in a statement, referring to the RSF.
