LAKE MILTON — Elma “Jean” Scott Morris passed away Sunday morning, Dec. 1, 2024. She was proud to have lived a full and good life to the age of 96. We all knew never to call her Elma, but she was happy to be called Jean, mom, grandma and Memmow. Jean was born Aug. 17, 1928, to Frank and Emma Stewart Scott, in Green County, Pa., where she said the air was so pure there was nothing like it. Jean found her matching puzzle piece in Kermit Morris, marrying and later moving to Ohio in 1948. Jean was an active member of her “Red Hatters” (Scarlet Bonnets) group, enjoyed Bible study as a member of Lakeview Assembly of God, as well as playing cards and bocce ball.
