Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Monday said that in a bid to improve the quality of education, more than 600 schools have been shut down in the state during the last 9 years. Addressing a public meeting at Logum Jini, Aalo in West Siang district, the Chief Minister announced that more schools would be closed in the coming days. Preferring quality for quantity, Khandu said that the number of schools does not matter but quality of education does.
