November 27, 2024 (EL FASHER) – More than 400,000 people have been displaced by the violence in El Fasher, North Darfur Since April, with some fleeing to Zamzam and nearby sites, the UN aid agency (OCHA) said amid concerns that the town is still under siege and inaccessible. The agency said a limited number of humanitarian partners are currently on the ground and working with UN agencies to deliver assistance and services to the population.
