HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- A Huntersville student is recovering after police say he was stabbed in the eye with a comb pick at J.M. Alexander Middle School by another student. Police say what a student brought to school wasn’t anything out of the ordinary, but what she’s accused of doing with it was. “It was not (considered) a weapon on campus,” said Brian Vaughan, assistant police chief of the Huntersville Police Department. “It’s not a normal thing to happen at school.” Investigators say two students got into an argument in the hallway at J.M Alexander Middle School on Tuesday.
