One killed in Mallard Creek shooting: Medic

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- One person is dead from a shooting in the Mallard Creek area Wednesday afternoon, according to local authorities.  Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police reported that the incident occurred around 3:25 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13, in the 5400 block of Strive Street. This is in an apartment complex off of Odell School Road.  Medic officials say the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. It is being investigated as a homicide. This is a Developing Story.
