(KRON) -- An Oakland pimp who was convicted of sex trafficking minors in 2019 was found dead in his prison cell over the weekend, prison officials said. Inmate Darius J. Swaim, 41, of Oakland, was pronounced deceased by paramedics in Kern Valley State Prison on November 9. His cellmate's clothing was covered in blood, California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation officials said. The CDCR is investigating Swaim's death as a homicide, and his cellmate, 58-year-old Gregory Clark, is the prime suspect.
