MONROE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- A man was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries after he was shot in the parking lot of a Monroe apartment complex Thursday, police said. The shooting happened around 8:45 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 31, in the 1600 block of Icemorlee Street at the Icemorlee apartment complex. As officers arrived at the scene they found a man, Brandon Williams, 29, of Marshville, who had been shot. He was taken to a Charlotte-area hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said. Monroe Police said it appears there was an argument in the parking lot between Williams and another person. The two exchanged gunfire and Williams was shot. This remains an active
