Sonora, CA — Classes were interrupted at Sonora High School this morning after a small fire was located in one of the classrooms. Details are still preliminary. Superintendent Ed Pelfrey reports, “There was a small fire in a classroom on the Sonora High campus. It has been extinguished. Students will have to stay outside of campus buildings until the fire department clears the campus.” Pelfrey added that the school thanks everyone for their patience. Classes will still take place this morning. We will pass along additional information as it becomes available.
