The non-injury blaze broke out about 4:15 a.m. at a home in the 600 block of Tangier Court, just east of College Boulevard, the Oceanside Fire Department reported. Crews were able to quickly subdue the flames, according to a department statement. Authorities believe the blaze may have been ignited by a malfunctioning battery, officials said.
