October 22, 2024 (JUBA) – Germany has given €2 million to the United Nations Children Fund (UNICEF) to boost gender based violence (GBV) fight among women and girls in South Sudan. The donation will benefit 14,000 people across the country among them 11,000 women and girls. “We put the needs of the most vulnerable groups in society first, and with this new funding, we want to support women and girls who have been the target of gender-based violence.
