The Health and Population Ministry in Egypt on Friday responded to social media rumors claiming that an epidemic disease has spread in the Giza Governorate. During a phone call with the privately-owned Sada el-Balad channel, Abdel-Ghaffar denied the existence of any disease or any epidemic outbreak within a Giza village. He said that a team from the Preventive Medicine Sector moved to the village of al-Qobayat in Atfih City, affiliated with Giza Governorate mentioned in one of the reports spread online, to clarify the truth.
