The Willits Community Theatre will hold the first auditions today for “Believe,” a Christmas play for children and adults written by Faye Couch Reeves. Auditions will be held at the WCT playhouse at 37 West Van Lane in Willits on Saturday, Oct. 12, at noon; Friday, Oct. 18 at 5 p.m.; and Saturday, Oct. 19 at 10 a.m. Roles are available for five men and seven women, 30 years old and up, for two teenage boys and 10 teenage girls, and for five boys and five girls between the ages of 5 and 12. “Believe” tells the story of Alex Norton, a teenage boy who is disgusted at the commercialization of Christmas.
