US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has raised the cost of applying for or renewing its Trusted Traveler Programs – a catchall term that covers Global Entry, NEXUS and SENTRI – from $100 to $120, as of October 1. Previously, it was on an “a la carte” system with different prices for different travelers, but now everyone will have to pay the same rate. The only exception is for minors: those under the age of 18 whose parents are enrolled in Global Entry and other Trusted Traveler Programs will not have to pay a fee.
