?The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced a three-month partial closure in both directions of Tariq bin Ziyad Street between Dar Al Kutub Intersection and the roundabout on the intersection of Tariq bin Ziyad Street and Al Wifaq Street from December 24. The closure in co-ordination with the General Directorate of Traffic is to allow upgrading and expanding works on both Dar Al Kutub Intersection and Tariq bin Ziyad Street, as part of the A Ring Road Project. During the closure, drivers will be able to use Al Wifaq Street, Shatt Al Arab Street and Al Amani Street as alternative routes as shown on the map. Ashghal will install road signs advising motorists of the temporary closure
