Sharjah authorities have said that work is progressing according to schedule on its key tourism and entertainment projects, including Khorfakkan Square Park, which is being developed on a 163,000sqm area, and several other academic and service projects in the emirate. HH Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, inspected these vital projects in the city of Khorfakkan on December 20, 2020. He began his visit by inspecting the various academic projects and the new expansion of the University of Sharjah, Khorfakkan Branch.
