The average price is 1.9 cents more than one week ago, but 2.2 cents less than one month ago and 69.5 cents lower than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped $1.738 since rising to a record $6.435 on Oct. 5, 2022. The national average price dropped nine-tenths of a cent to $3.308, a day after dropping eight-tenths of a cent. It was the 20th decrease in the past 21 days. It is 5.3 cents less
