NILES — Joseph W. Clay, 78, passed away peacefully at 6:30 a.m. Monday, July 22, 2024, at the Humility House, following an extended illness. Joseph was born April 12, 1946, in Warren, the son of William and Stella Loomis Clay and has lived in this area all his life. Joseph was a high school graduate and received an associate degree in electrical engineering from the Trumbull Branch of Kent State University. Joseph retired from the maintenance department at Hillside Hospital following 25 years of faithful service. He also worked for 20 years at Salem Community Hospital and was a member of the Warren Revival Center. He enjoyed fishing and did a great deal of crafting with his wife, Carol. H
