Abu Dhabi-based developer IMKAN has awarded the 36.5 million contract to build an open-air shopping mall in the Moroccan capital of Rabat to BYMARO, a local subsidiary owned by French building and engineering powerhouse Bouygues Batiment International. The project is Morocco’s first lifestyle mall and has been described as a major feature of IMKAN’s flagship development in Rabat, Le Carrousel. It has been designed by architect Ernesto Klingenberg of Spanish design firm, L35.
