Her husband, the famous sportsman known for his daredevil content, broke his silence on the events that went down via Instagram story.
"Hey everyone... I want to thank every single one of you for the overwhelming love I got these past couple days and I know I will get for days to come with this tragic event that took place August 2," he started his statement.
Chase went on to share what happened in the moments leading up to her death.
"Devrey went to work happy as ever to work at skydive perris. It was a beautiful day and she was a tandem instructor that day, on her last jump she took a student on a regular day to day skydive.
"There was no malfunction, there was no plane incident, she was turning her canopy on final to come land safely on the grass, like she has done hundreds of times.
"She noticed what we call in the industry 'dust devils' small little tornados that are dangerous in the sport.
"At about 40ft devrey avoid one of them, but caught a second one, with dust devils going over grass they come invisible because you can't see any dust in the direction there going."
LaRiccia-Chase unfortunately succumbed to her injuries at the hospital.
Previously Chase posted a video of his wife but took it down saying "that is was too close from her passing."
"I loved that perfect girl," Chase concluded his statement.
Before sharing the details of her unfortunate death, Chase shared a heart-wrenching tribute to his wife on Instagram.
"My soul, my love, my other half, my baby my ride or die, my everything, my wife..." Chase wrote about his late wife.
"You were [too] perfect for this world and god just wanted to bring you home, you were an angel amongst us and just was called back to heaven."
Chase shared how difficult he had taken her shock death.
"Having to say goodbye to you for now will forever be the hardest thing I will ever do in my life," he wrote.
"I love you so much my now and forever angel," he added.
Tributes to the late skydiving instructor poured in on the comments of Chase's post.
"I'm so sorry for your loss this is absolutely heartbreaking," one person wrote.
"She was the kind of light we need more of in this world, especially now," another person wrote.
"Devastating. Love you, Freddy."
Chase has since flooded his Instagram Stories with dozens of pictures and videos of his wife.
Her family started a GoFundMe page following her death.
"It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share the tragic passing of our beloved daughter and sister," her family wrote on the page.
They shared that the family needed help to bring her body back to Maine, where she was originally from.
This page has raised over $53,000 as of Monday evening.
Her family posted an update to share their thanks to everyone who had donated.
"We wanted to thank everyone who has donated thus far," they wrote.
"Our family has been overwhelmed with words of love and support from those who knew Devrey and those who just met her in passing.
"We are doing as best as we can as each moment passes. Blue skies and fly high."
LaRiccia-Chase had also been an avid raver and posted many pictures and videos from festivals and concerts.
