(KRON) -- The Vallejo Police Department tracked down a robber who accidentally took a GPS tracker from a store safe he stole from on Friday. Man breaks into Berkeley charity organization, steals money and equipment Police said the robbery occurred at a business located on the 3600 block of Sonoma Boulevard at about 1:30 p.m. An employee reported that the robber "entered the store, jumped over the counter, assaulted an employee" before stealing from the store safe. The suspect is said to have stolen about $3,000 in cash in total. Police said that after stealing from the safe, he was able to evade security and flee from the Vallejo business.
