A Point Arena man was arrested on suspicion of homicide after allegedly calling authorities to report shooting another man, the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office reported. According to the MCSO, deputies responded to the 38500 block of Eureka Hill Road on July 11 when a man identified as Pan Jasper Brady, 47, of Point Arena, called “911 to report that he had just shot a person.” The suspect went on to explain that “he had been in an argument with the victim, a 54-year-old male, and (had) retrieved a handgun and shot the victim.
