DENVER (KDVR) — A vehicle fire along U.S. 285 on Thursday afternoon led to a small wildfire near homes and horses and closed the southbound lanes for about an hour. It happened around 2:38 p.m. along U.S. 285 and Sunrise Lane, near Hillview, according to a release from Elk Creek Fire Protection District.
