(KRON) – A suspected thief spat in the face of an officer while in handcuffs, according to the Colma Police Department. At 3:53 p.m. on June 7, Colma police officers were dispatched to the 5000 block of Junipero Serra Boulevard on a report of a theft at a retail store. Responding officers were informed the suspect was a known theft offender. According to Colma PD, officers were told that the suspect took multiple items and ran to the exit.
