Petroleum Development Oman, GES to create job opportunities for Omanis

Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) and Gulf Energy SAOC (GES) have announced their partnership arrangement that will generate employment opportunities for around 600 Omanis across GES’ product line and services in Oman and abroad. Oman News Agency reported that a Memorandum of Collaboration (MoC) with the initiative was signed at a ceremony held under the auspices of Dr Mohammed bin Hamad al Rumhy, Minister of Energy and Minerals in Oman and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of PDO. Under the terms of the initiative, PDO has agreed with GES to employ 150 Omanis every year for the next four years in wells construction, interventions and industrial services.
