HARRISBURG, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced an additional corridor eligible for National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Round 1B funding. The newly added corridor, labeled 70B, covers the stretch from exit 149 (Breezewood) to exit 168 (Warfordsburg), near the Maryland border. Proposals for funding in this corridor must be submitted by August 2, 2024, at 5:00 PM EDT. The proposal period for the original 14 corridor-groups in Round 1B remains unchanged and will close on July 10, 2024. These corridors were opened for proposals on May 13, 2024.
